Too many days of freezing in the michigan winter hammering nails and standing on a six inch wall 20 feet up trying to guide trusses that are swinging from a crane & hoping the winter wind don't send you on a quick trip down while the builder sits warmly in his brand new truck talking on his phone.

I am trying to utilize my time wisely and figure out what I can do to inch my way back to what I love.

I once had a group of people snap a 70 inch TV in half along with a sleeper sofa, then punch holes in the walls on 3 levels, tossed beer cans and trash all over the property, plus they started a bonfire on the deck using firewood and some furniture from the house... yeah fun times.We've had them on beaches, mountain resorts, cities, middle of no where.

Our course powers off and sump pump isn't running so the basement has about an inch of water in it.

The figures I gave you earlier were of course my estimates if I had contractors fix every inch of the building minus the structure itself.  

I have used the 1/2 inch Hardiebacker Cement Backerboard and have not had any grout cracking or tiles coming up. 

I did an inspection on the house as we are considering picking it up, the foundation has in fact moved roughly 2 inches.

what are yall experiencing out there... are vacancies on the up and or rents inching downward or??

Buying replacement doors starts to get as expensive as just replacing the cabinets.If it's a low-end rental, you can just replace all the doors with 3/4 inch plywood.

We only shovel or plow if it's 4 inches or more.
