I use a website like areavibes.com to look at the indexes of a certain area (e.g. cost of living, education level, crime, etc) not always accurate but does give you an idea.

I could also take advantage of 1031 exchanges along the way.There is also fix and flip projects, which, if I did constantly, could provide another $50-60k of income per year at the smallest scale.This is a lot to think about and could drastically affect my life seeing as I'm only 29.If I went with stocks, they would be index funds.

As is often said, "you don't know what you don't know" or, perhaps better stated, you are likely unaware of which topics exist which you need to study in any specific pursuit.Unfortunately, I don't see a solution short of a scanning engine to read every single post and index keywords so that a directory of sorts could be built to help people find posts germaine to specific topics they might wish to study.

I am not sure what the new loan will look like, i.e. will it be a 40 year loan, etc. the interest rates for the loan were outlined in what I read and will fall between 2% and the fully indexed amortizing original contract rate or the Freddie Mac primary mortgage market survey rate for a 30 year fixed rate.

@Wendy SchultzI have been investing in index funds since 2013 (although the market has been terrible over the past few months haha).. always living way under may paycheck I plan on keeping the money there until my next purchase Then I look to refi out of my current FHA loan, into another fha purchase- then go conventional

I was recently listening to a podcast that had a guest interview with University of Chicago professor Harold Pollack, and I found it very interesting.The way I understand it, a few years ago he was discussing general financial literacy with an author and said that "the best financial advice for most people would fit on an index card."
