It was a tough move for me and my family, but I have grown to love it here.  

Price to rent is still pretty tough in most areas based on historical/textbook returns, but you can always solve that cash flow problem by putting more down payment/using less leverage.Based on a whole host of economic factors like population grown, high home prices, higher interest rates, etc I think we will continue to see strong demand for rentals.   

In the past 6 years alone, Playa Del Carmen’s population has grown just over 63%.

We've grown our portfolio (my wife and I) much faster than we originally planned - seems that is not unusual, but we are possibly looking at opportunities in SW FL.I will be in the Largo beaches area Apr 21 - 26 and am looking for a potential partner in the area to help find deals.  

Had we grown up in Akron I imagine we'd be doing the exact same thing in Akron that we are doing up in Cleveland.In your situation you are not local to Cleveland or Akron so you need a management team to handle your investments.

The worst performing property I have owned in Austin has grown a minimum $10k per year in value.

And that's now what we love about it so much so we moved here in 2020 and opened up a brokerage and property management company.The fact that it's the last major city in FL that hasn't grown to the same size of the 3 other major cities.

That's enough to get into a 2-4 unit in the rapidly growning Columbus market.
