Firemen, school teachers, janitors, etc. are quickly running out of places to be able to afford to buy a home, and Stockton offers them that opportunity.And that's a big consideration when selecting the two markets... who's moving there? 

You can 'house hack' your degree.But there should be more alternatives to military service that provide a similar path.In Alaska, the state will fund full ride for teachers getting teaching degrees, on the condition that they go out to do a teaching stint in the remote villages. 

To anyone considering getting a mentor, trainer, teacher, coach, etc., you don't need to spend thousands. 

In realestate, I realize experience is the best teacher.

We are in fact both teachers.  

I feel like I'm never going to get ahead on my teachers salary.

Teacher, police officer, credit manager, crane operator, delivery driver, inventory control manager.....we can form a quick opinion about people, but all mentioned have or could have late payments or default but statistically, some jobs or professions have better payment expectations than others.

I am hoping to acquire another in 6-8 months.My daughter's fiance' works in Claxton and she is still in college to become a teacher.

:)My wife is a teacher, and during the summer has a few months of self-employment income for another teaching job she does.
