Airbnb hosts barely saw a bump in rents and the many speculators who jumped in just for the SuperBowl were very disappointed. 

My situation: I'm currently a minor league baseball player - look up our average income and you'll be severely disappointed - and I am looking to begin purchasing homes between $30-$60k.  

Let's just call it a disappointment and a learning lesson.My question for the forum however is this:Is this typical for >5 unit buildings (true commercial buildings).

Hi there,We invested back in 2012 in Tampa and we sold all our portfolio after having changed our PM and be hugely disappointed with him.We're looking a new place to invest around 400-500k$.We had in Tampa several Single Family units and our first PM managed it very well, giving us a nice cap of 8-9% (way more than any investment available in France) But then the PM quit doing it and specialized in wholesale/properties flipI read several studies on where to invest next and it seems than Texas or Georgia (north carolina) would be the best picks.

You're setting yourself up for disappointment here if when they're TRYING to get your business they're not responding.

If I told you the deal is off the table right now....would you be relieved or disappointed.

However, initial calls resulted in my credit being pulled only to be disappointed by the fact I didn’t meet certain criteria (3 lines of credit history for 1-year each, etc.).

I found this thread and got excited but was disappointed to not get more recommendations.

Appraised at $35,000 at closing (disappointed in this).  

I don't want to leave a trail of anger, disappointment, questions of ethics.
