I also could have gotten the space heaters that night, but thought you would appreciate a hotel stay near to your workplace.

Also as the younger, more tech savvy generation takes over the workplace, working remotely will become more the norm than having office/retail space to punch the clock.

I am a recent graduate going into workplace.

I own a home (primary residence) in Corona, California and i am planning to buy another house in another expensive area (Irvine, CA) which is close to work place because i am spending 2 hours in traffic everyday.My current residence is in 15 years mortgage and paying $3000 as monthly mortgage plus tax and insurance.

I have stayed in corporate housing and they are nice, unfortunately, there is none I could find on the location I was looking and I don't want to be farther than 20 min driving from my work place (Hill AFB). 

Right or wrong, those reasons were our motivation for looking at MF property.What we ended up buying was a package of 18 one-bedroom condos in a city nearby my workplace, from a landlord who had accumulated them in blocks over the past 20 years, paying $400k for the package.

If I'm not mistaken, a workplace 401k plan can't be used in this way.
