Ironically, traveling for "long term", AirBnB make it impossible!

So, I have to travel for three weeks at the time to Utah, for the next three to four months, and I was wandering if AirBnB was better friendly-user than hotels.  I'm an investor but never have try AirBnB before...

It turns out that hotels will warrant my "Government" rate at $94/night, plus taxes (about $12 bucks a night).

So, I decided to give a try to the AirBnB community.  Not sure if is the norm, since I'm first user, but they require you to upload pictures of your DL front and back?  And trying to do so, there are some glitches...

I just want to get in touch with the owner, telling them I will be there for 23 nights next month, and probably 23 more nights on April, and so on... but there is little room for communication with the owner unless I upload my DL pictures (which I tried without success)...

Wondering how many of you AirBnB investors are loosing on rent because adhering with some requirements that their system doesn't work, and there is no channels of communication between the client and the owner...

I'm just frustrated on their system, I hope it improves, I have properties on front beach, but always tent on long term...  Not sure what am I missing, but it should be pretty simple... I need to travel, I need to communicate with the owner, I need to agree with terms. They failed big on communication.

You might try the VRBO site.  They have worked well for me.
