One of the many reasons people don’t create blogs and forums is because of the massive undertaking it takes to monitor.

I'm considering undertaking a duplex to triplex conversion project in Minneapolis, and looking for the best way to go about it. 

LOL  I also build in a few weeks blocked off to give me time to resolve any issues with closing, redecorate the property, etc.  

Then do the driveway, do an interior redecoration of all the units/common areas, and invite me out for coffee (your treat ;)

Is this a huge, expensive undertaking that any of you had a ton of problems with?  

Modern ones with electric ignition probably dont.when walking into a kitchen I could tell whether it was gas or elec range before I looked if it hadnt been redecorated in 10-15 years,,,and most rentals are not

This is a recursive, multi-step process, but worthwhile if you can undertake it.

That was one large undertaking for a first project but to me looks like a great success. 

It is the Firm’s practice to require a retainer when we undertake a new representation; a flat fee deposit in the amount of [FEE///$500.00] will be required for the Firm’s representation in this matter.
