🙌 Success really does come down to mindset, systems, resilience, and—most importantly—consistent action. 

I still don't think you are truly "cash flowing" until at least year 3, but probably year 5-10. 

Then look at different REI to scale to that number.  

Instead of picking a cookie cutter plan, actually hire an experience architect to design a house that makes sense for the lot.

I Am currently in the finishing stages of building my own house in Ontario, Canada and looking to sell and relocate to texas (likely DFW area)i have done 90% of the work on this project by myself so im confident in my ability to do any and all repairs on the property. 

It may pencil out if you're building an extra unit, but just a single bedroom is not going to work.

It also gave me the chance to experiment with short-term rentals before transitioning to a long-term hold, reinforcing my strategy for growing a real estate portfolio.

I found a listing in Northern California on Zillow that is vacant land with approved plans for building a home. How do I make this happen ? Never done a new build.
