Also while attending college I got an Illinois realtors license because they offered the class to us at a discounted price because of the program I was in, but I soon let it expire because I never went to work for a broker or anything. So, I graduated with a lot of debt and went to work for a few commercial general contractors in Chicago for about 5 years as a project engineer/manager, moved around the Midwest several times, then decided to move back to my home town a few years ago and went to work in the public works department as a superintendent in the Water/Sewer department. And here I am today. At age 39, I'm finally in a place in my life both financially and personally where I can start to make my dream come true....I hopeJoining this community is just one more step I'm taking to try ensure that this new journey will be a successful one.Sincerely,Matt Perrine

Before I started as a facilities manager I worked as a superintendent for a small, mostly residential but some commercial, contracting business for roughly 4 years and still do my own small residential remodeling jobs on the side.I'm currently building some reserves through managing my finances and reducing expenses while maximizing my W2 savings in addition to my side work income, in hopes to start my investing career by house hacking a 2-4 multi family unit in the greater Seattle area.

I choose what I do each day, and I also choose when to look at my reports from property managers and construction superintendents on various projects where my money is at work.
