School District "Impact" fees.
Long Beach Unified School District is violating the new laws of SB13, in my case by charging school impact developer fees for ADU conversions under 750 sf. Providing a determination letter from the HCD stating it is illegal to charge "impact" fees on an ADU under 500 sf meant nothing to them. I am not the only one getting it shoved to me.
I would like to try and get this turned around, not only here in Long Beach but to the other California school districts that are being greedy and charging illegal "impact" fees.
Please let me know, via private messaging or preferably on this forum, if you are having problems too.
