This guy, Leland von Syring of Charter Financial claims to have been around since 1997 with his company in the note business, and to me it doesn't seem to be a scam or anything.

There’s a 9o% chance the judge will be in the tenants side and a 100% chance the landlord won’t get away with scamming the friend in front of a judge. 

@Johnathon Thompson you need to build a trustworthy local team, which is NOT as easy you everyone thinks.As soon as many PMC's, agents, contractors, etc. hear an owner is OOS, they take the path of least resistance (at best) or look to scam the owner.So, an owner must ask a LOT of questions and do their due diligence and even if they find someone, apply "trust, but verify":)

Is the company for real or a scam?

Someone reached out to me regarding this program and i thought it was a scam.

This is probably the largest RE scam in Indiana history so far and it continues to continue . 

I checked 3 websites and all the review was bad and looks like a scam. 

Reason is there's been scams where landlords collected rent a year in advance, then disappeared without paying the mortgage.I had a nun's convent downsizing, from 500 nuns to less than 100.
