Sometimes those properties exceed 100% expenses to rent they bring in.Generally though, when I look at my overall portfolio at the end of the year, the expenses usually are right about 50%.So, it's an important number to keep in mind but consider the specifics of the property you are looking at more than any 'rule of thumb' measurement.
