The potential renter is asking about possibly renting to own.

@Kasondra Milton- hi there ...thanks ...Raised in the fairport area ...live on west coast now ..last summer I had to return to Roch area to help with a family illness  situation ...I stayed in a AIRBNB that was close to Strong hospital for 3 weeks ...in my search for places - I must say I was surprised at the lack of options ( at least at that time ) ...that being said - I agree with your comment about the fact that Greater  Roch  likely  wont  attract a large amount of renters consitently  ( outskirts  like  finger lakes are a diff story ) - thanks and good luck

My dilemma is that one of my properties is worth about $400K and I owe ($40k on a HELOC & $50K on the mortgage) and I'm on tract to pay them both off in 16 months- paying ($2000 from the renter and me paying $4000 a month on the HELOC= $6000 per month total) I plan on doing this until both loans are paid.

Do you have any tips or avenues I can take to help them out with marketing my property to find a renter.

They are excellent renters so there's no reason to deny their request and (as a former foster parent that has adopted three children) I would do everything I could to support them.3.

The only way that makes sense is if they charge a flat monthly fee but nothing for finding a renter. 

Make sure you are properly screening your leads the same as you would for long term renters. 

You get to have renters pay off your mortgage and live rent free in most cases.

I had a decent set of renters that are leaving after their lease is up at the end of this month.
