As far as financing, if you have real CF then it shouldn't be an issue.

I agree with the other comment, you unfortunately do not get that money back even if the seller was not upfront on an issue. 

I know this is also a National issue, especially in land constricted markets.

I heard that one of the new laws that went into effect 1/1/25 in CA requires landlords give tenants photos of any areas/issues that were a cause for security deposit deductions.Thanks in advance for any input !
