Hi @Suhaib Rehman,I don't believe John has been active on BiggerPockets for some time now, but the Cape Coral market, and a few others surrounding, are certainly still feasible for investment purchases depending on your strategy and investment parameters.

Then if that bad review with a response is surrounded by many good reviews, it will usually get overlooked.

I think one of the main issue with exiting whole subdivisions of BTR is that the homes were built about as cheap as you can build a home.. and a neighborhood full of rentals, 100% rentals is going to look like crap from a curb appeal standpoint.. and who wants to buy an owner occ surrounded by tenants like the first people coming in would. 

I’m looking to start out and connect with others that are in my market as well as the surrounding smaller cities such as Sanford and rocky mount.I’m looking to finally get some doors of my own as well as maybe do a couple flips.

And the surrounding neighborhood we are aiming at for this specific listing did not have anything popping out for the past 2 years.

In my opinion, Lincoln and Omaha (and surrounding suburbs) are going to be the best markets for the short and long term for a variety of reasons. 

Don't forget to look in the areas surrounding Jacksonville. 

I’m not my first deal the inspector missed a huge problem with the electrical in the attic where we ended up having to move all the blown in insulation after closing and replace all the electrical to the lights in the whole house.
