@Katie Miller No matter what horrible obstacles you run up against DO NOT QUIT.

It seems like they bought them a year or two ago, they’ve been horrible and the seller is just trying to bail?

The leads are horrible and I've heard that some agents have had success getting out based on the new lawsuit selling one lead to multiple agents.

This is horrible.

Horrible experience for me with that company.

Is that still a bad area to buy rentals or am I going to get renters but horrible ones?

I have been a guest at the Portland REIA's a few years back and my talk was on the new dodd frank and NMLS rules... well one of the regular's did not agree and was giving the folks horrible advice.. but of course him being a big shot and there every week and its what the people wanted to hear my talk was useless  LOL.. was not what they wanted to hear.the people that run them get a lot of leads coming their way and that is the benefit of donating their time..

its incredible the amount of horrible advice given on this subject, by people that don't have a clue what they are talking about.

and it currently has "wall/window AC" that looks horrible (old style, dirty, randomly located like under the window or high above the window) so really bad for marketing the unit in STR platforms.I want to change them ASAP!! 

After that change they got horrible tenates in the property and things went downhill.
