Let me start off by stating, I'm sure this question has been posted somewhere on this forum, but I cannot find the answer I'm looking for. 

We are looking to make this post to start getting in contact with likeminded people in the areas of Calgary or Edmonton.To provide a little background, we purchased a half duplex 3 years ago in our hometown (Northern Ontario) at the age of 21.

Start by learning the basics of finding and analyzing deals, networking with investors, and understanding contracts.

Start small with strategies like house hacking, leveraging your hands-on skills for value-add properties, and building a strong team or network to reduce risks.

I would say you should start off by just meeting multi-family investor-friendly agents who can help get you started with 5 units search and work on finding you off-market ones as well Thanks Kerlous!

However I am not sure its the best investment strategy for someone who is just getting started.

I made an effort to connect with everyone until I eventually connected with the top investor/broker.
