Working on a prospective deal and wanted to know whether to flip or keep as rental.

If you are looking to pull out equity on your home to start to do some fix&flips(great idea) then it would all depend on how much equity there is in you home and your current income(SSI,retirement etc).

I do a bit of flipping, BRRRR, long term rentals, and wholesale.

Its more hands off than being a landlord or flipping homes but you have know how to do it correctly.   

Underwriting a new construction is like a flip on steroids in terms of volume, however you will find that you can get a much more accurate budget in the end because unlike a flip, there are very few unknowns going into it.
