You didn't have to spend a dime on capital improvements either, if you didn't want to.One other thing is if you have enough income from rentals or some other endeavor, why not put more emphasis on appreciation.

@Don Konipol your comment was not helpful at all and you’re not telling me anything new. the question was what areas are more lax. just bc the California market isn’t advantageous does not by any means indicate that Airbnb is not a profitable endeavor. nice try on the scare tactic though.

Attempting a DIY approach without being deeply entrenched in the profession is a challenging endeavor.

It's like having free mentoring embedded in your financial team, as they share insights from working with individuals both earlier and farther along in their real estate endeavors.

It sounds like there's a relationship that exists outside of your interest in pursuing this real estate investment endeavor and I am concerned the desire to collaborate with all parties mentioned is taking priority over whether the foursome can collaborate to everyone's benefit.
