The new contact paper is applied and looks okay.I pulled off the loose paper and sanded the section with a medium grit paper. the new is 8" high, and darker, what turned out to be a reasonably good looking contrast.

Cheap Bumper Stickers?

I've heard of people using 5"x5" stickers and putting them on dumpsters, at gas pumps, at bus stops etc.similar to bandit signs (they aren't flashy) but they put ur messages where people are. and stickers are smaller, and may last longer as hard to pull off etc.my personal idea with stickers is to get ones made that severely contrast the colors of the local (extremely popular) free weekly paper and put them on their boxes.

you could do a brick step-out up top rather than a custom cornice that could be very pricey. it could look nice if you color match the vintage brick or go the opposite and do a contrasting color (like white to match your windows and basement) to make the top stand out. attached are some examples of some top step-outs. the brick mason doing the re-pointing could probably give you a quote for doing the top as well.

KEEP the Tudor, but you need a contrasting color for the trim from that chosen for the other wood siding.
