Probably not the greatest idea.Other house put 12"x12" (cut to fit) granite tiles on top of old tiles, they now have a good slope so water does not sit below window.Both are just band aides, if you gut it then just pull window out, glass blocks sounds good too.

I think the lack of cash flow and delayed return would be aided by the fact that they would get their investment out at the first refinance, and the fact that I would take care of returning their investment before paying myself.  

Consolidating through Student Aid gov will only let me add the 2.14% loans to one of the $20k loans and lower it to 6.5% but that isn't going to make a huge difference and it makes no sense.By the time I've paid it off I'll have paid up to $110k and it is really getting to me that I feel it hasn't even paid down from $50k over the last 5 years of $300 monthly payments.

The closest thing I have seen to that is in Belize where they don't have any zoning laws and wouldn't have much enforcement even if they did because they have very little law enforcement in general.

Hey @Cody Neustaedter currently in the norther Ontario region of New Liskeard it is an hour and a half south of Timmins being the closest large city center. 

As a newbie, I have acquired three lovely City lots in a cozy little Colorado town close to the second largest lake here in the state with the closest sky resorts being just ninety minutes to Telluride and forty-five minutes to Durango.

There may be resources for you, legal aid, etc.
