This is my first multi-unit purchase, with larger purchase number with high interest rate in the neighborhood i never had rental property, which all add together that gives me anxiety, even though i used to work in the area for 14 years....so i cant say i am not familiar with the neighborhood, just never owned any propertydefinitely never felt good at closing, and chest pain is real, i dont recall when was the last time i was happy at closing, it's always "why i did it again", then i remembered because i need to make more income.summer being great time to get new tenant, but also worst financial time for me with kid summer camp, summer vacation travel...etc

So it only took about 4-5 years to replace my income and 8 or 9 to “feel financial free” it’s not overnight, but I had been taught people worked 40 years and it felt like overnight.

I do not think it is overhyped (like blockchain was/is) but people need to realize that this technology will not happen overnight.

But, at least there is time for you to have some plan B moves and still own the property, because when the lender calls a note due, it doesn't happen over night.

@Tim West Yes - exactly my vision would be a different feel - community gardens, laundry facility, perhaps a guest suite that they could rent for overnight guests.
