On the positive I found 265 dollars in cash in 1 dollars bills in a closet in a readers digest hard cover I almost threw out, but a dollar fell out and I stopped just in the nick of time before it hit the trash.

I'm completely amazed at all the information provided on this site, the blogs, the podcast etc and trying to digest it all is pretty overwhelming.

But at $3-$500/year to keep you liquid while you pay your mortgage down and save thousands and years off of your mortgage, holy cow, I'll take that deal every time.

In case you do not know what AirDNA is, they are a company that scrubs all the publicly available AirBNB rental data and composes it in clean and easily digestible formats.
