I appreciate the concern @Rich Baer, but I'm a bit more in @Jay Hinrichs camp, that there is all kinds of money available for well-qualified borrowers, but the underwriting is still much better than pre-crisis, and the credit is not as widely available..

I have spent a lot of money on courses and boot camps and gotten my money's worth.

I've also been to 3 day camps in past with the guru's as well.

Then some RE investor too, are discouraging because they always start out like they want to help but then slide the boot camp and the fee to get information that I know they got from reading and studying.

It's when they start using phrases like "can't miss", "sure fired mega profits", "I got this idea from a guru boot camp" that you know they're blowing smoke and are not to be trusted.

Camp Lejeune NC has a base housing shortage...400 homes on base will be closed requiring service members to move off base.

The training is great, the boot camps are fantastic but the people were the deciding factor for me.  

I know it depends on the individual but I'm staunchly in the owner camp for the same reasons as @Bryan Otteson and @Theresa Worsham.I'm a non-confrontational person who hates conflict but, since my policies are fair and logical, I have no problem representing them as my own.
