And maybe it will be less boring if you see it as part of a master plan you've chosen for yourself to get ahead, an answer to a problem so you'll be sure to succeed in the business you really want to be in.

However, I have a feeling that I have chosen a wrong time to get into this business.As a start-up with have very limited resources (I can afford to $170,000.00 in TOTAL project costs*, may be $200,000.00 if I stretch myself too thin and take the extra risks with no reserve capital left for any unpredictable, unknown and adverse occurrences) .

Beacon is a great market to be in (which is why cap rates are so low and cash buyers are plentiful) but I see much more value in properly chosen areas of Newburgh.

For myself, I'm just too busy these days with little kids so I've chosen to work with a turnkey company - Rent to Retirement - and have been very happy.

It was nice getting the check on time but we wish we had not chosen that tenant at the end of the day.

Those are some of the reasons that I have chosen to invest in Walla Walla Washington, it is a very quaint town (approx. 45,000 population) and I have tried to find investors here (there are some but not as many as the above mentioned) to network with as I am in the process of trying to start a BP meet up/REIA here.  

Some go to college and never make it in their chosen field, or any for that matter.
