When gold was around 2k/ oz and the massive bonuses were flowing, it was not uncommon to see brand new 60K pickups, rebooted muscle cars and Harley's parked in front of stereotypical single-wides (1970's metal shells, cinder block foundations, etc.).

I agree with others,it's a rental property,not a family home.You should be tailoring your advertising to Landlords only and be willing to eat a loss if you can't break even at this point.You could also refinance it to a rental loan and rent it out yourself.I know exactly how you feel.I have my own "albatross" hanging around my neck as well.

Doubly so from long distance.There is definitely a market for vacation rentals in the area, but if they're truly trying to take on a vacation rental, and not an Air BNB operation, they should consider stuff more in your neck of the woods, on the islands and such.

I'd say that's in your neck of the woods Tiger, there is a difference between an additional insured and a loss payee, what Realtor's may write to their benefit may not be seen in the same light to an owner or insurance company.
