What is the local rent market like and house price movement?

I could probably sell the house in this market for $40,000 or keep collecting rent into perpetuity.

With some movement on the price and maybe bettter loan terms, it might be a great deal.Like John says, I'd be concerned about the lack of cash reserves.

For example, Discover, Chase & Citibank perpetually are sending us 0% offers with various terms for our existing credit lines with them... depending on which cards you have, some lenders might be best to pay off first so you can then transfer higher interest debt to them at 0%...I hope this all helps - best of luck! 

I second the suggestions to get involved and connected so you can take action and avoid becoming the perpetual student.

I don't need constant filming, just whenever there is sound or movement (which would be daily anyway). 

As a few of you already has expected, home sales in the area are down and movement has been very slow.
