It's all of the documentation that you will need...every single form for everything as it pertains to renting property.Just because you "create" a 25 page document covering everything under the sun and have a tenant sign it, it does not mean that it will hold up in court.By the way, I had an angry tenant tell me that she was going to call a lawyer.

If the local leash bylaws do not pertain to private property, your lease should indicate that the dogs are to be on leash whenever outside .... since it is a conjoined/common wall property.

The new owners were trying to have the tenant removed, and the city....drumroll please...viewed the un-permitted apartment just like any other apartment, and all laws pertaining to legal dwellings applied to this un-permitted dwelling.It was even stated that when the old dwelling was going to be torn apart, that the owner would need a demolition permit!
