These types of jobs cannot be outsourced to India or the Philipines.  

The 800 customer service number is outsourced to 3rd world country, where they got instructions to reply with only one phrase "Nothing can be done at this point, and I cannot connect your call through to anybody else."

Initially, outsource them before getting staff members with a knack trained.

Again, I haven't even set foot in the REI world so I wouldn't know how it would feel to manage (or outsource to a management company) all those 50-75.

I also invest in MF in San Antonio from Austin and chose to outsource the oversight of my properties there.  

With a 50 hr per week day job I would need to outsource this task.   

I actually am pursuing this as a tangential business, outsourcing most of the work.
