Why would you pay down a 7% interest rate when you can utilize the extra payments towards actively investing in other opportunities that can provide a higher return, e.g. actively investing in real estate.

I have recently started utilizing this platform for just that and I've already had some great conversations with people here. 

Make sure everyone knows a cleaning schedule, expectation for common areas, how are you splitting utilities, guest policy, etc.

Current section 8 tenants pay $2100 rent...plus utilities.

Make sure utilities are available, and that you have tap fees included in your estimate, as well as engineering (site plan), architectural plan, and other bits you might need to consider for your market (landscaping and costs of sale, for example).
