I'd love to know about the types of neighborhoods that:1) are either in or neighbor the trendy coffee, restaurants and pub areas2) are walkable to above said places (15-20min walking radius)3) if not walkable, some sort of straight shot commute/transport into those more trendy areas4) relatively safe

I look at the number of "pro" members vs free members and it makes me think most people are hearing a trendy word, a quick start, and haven't put the time into educating themselves.I hope I'm a jerk, and I'm wrong for asking.

It's basically just the process of gentrification, so prices may level off once the neighborhoods move from being trendy to becoming established.

My Daddy always said it never hurts to try and I just make sure I always keep a pair of sneakers in my car.

When people talk about expensive states they mention NY and California, if I wanted to get a rental property in a decent area in DC I would have to pay $600k for an old building (and not in a hot trendy neighborhood) without any rehab work. 

I am seeking a triplex or fourplex in an area that is on the upward trend. I

But, essentially we like 'cool' color tones because of how trendy and how they don't exclude any buyers (whereas bright colors might).

@Jeff Brower It would depend on the numbers as to when this would happen, but I'm looking at renovating into a "trendy" motel.

I believe this trend is going to continue for a bit, especially if variable rates are involved in your deals.

Stainless steel front appliances are trendy these days if that's in your budget.
