I'd love to know about the types of neighborhoods that:1) are either in or neighbor the trendy coffee, restaurants and pub areas2) are walkable to above said places (15-20min walking radius)3) if not walkable, some sort of straight shot commute/transport into those more trendy areas4) relatively safe

I look at the number of "pro" members vs free members and it makes me think most people are hearing a trendy word, a quick start, and haven't put the time into educating themselves.I hope I'm a jerk, and I'm wrong for asking.

It's basically just the process of gentrification, so prices may level off once the neighborhoods move from being trendy to becoming established.

When people talk about expensive states they mention NY and California, if I wanted to get a rental property in a decent area in DC I would have to pay $600k for an old building (and not in a hot trendy neighborhood) without any rehab work.
