The guys I had hired to clean out the apartment then took these items to 'who knows where'.Said tenant has now sent me an informal letter stating that he has gotten back on his feet after a divorce and now has the means to properly and legally sue me for improper eviction proceedings and theft of his personal property. he states he has spoken to several neighbors who will attest to the fact that his property was loaded into a truck and stolen. he also states that he documented with witnesses several calls he made to me asking where his things were and if there were any storage fees involved.

nothing you can do about their data bases, your ssn and your shredder play no part to this epidemic... yes it is the fastest growing crime in the world right now, but less than 25 percent of it is finanacial, and most identity theft protection will only cover financial, and by cover i mean monitor, when the identity is stolen, they will send you a kit that will literally take you hundreds of hours to restore your identity!

There was also resentment from residents of surrounding areas and it was not long before the fences were knocked down, trees were stolen, graphite covered the painted brick and the properties continued to be revolving with tenants every few months.You really need to enlist the help of neighborhood centric organizations and businesses if you want o be successful long-term, in my opinion.best of luck

Once you own it, it can be very difficult to get it rehabbed without the materials being stolen, and rented, and then finding a manager that wants to go into that type of area.
