Beyond trying to connect on this forum would recommend look in the BP Meet up section and checking out local DFW FB RE investor Facebook groups as well as Meetup.com and Eventbrite for local events. 

OP what areas of discussion on Industrial?  

I asked him a lot of questions about the business and as soon as I got home I was doing research and joining RE forums focused on multi family.

Welcome to BP Bianca, if you currently don't have much capital, find some partners in your network that have the funds to get started in RE but are hesitant since they never purchased anything yet.

Be careful about the advice of others when it comes to your RE investing future. 

It's great to be prepared and have your duck in a row but we don't even start discussing eviction until they are at least a month late or behind by 1.5 months of rent. 25% of the time tenants are going to be late and about 10% are going to be late consistently.

I'm not sure how I would offer to do a specific job or task when I'm not even sure of the tasks that are typically needed to be done in a RE deal. im not sure if my question makes sense to others but hopefully i could get some advice on how to go about offering my services of time. thanks for you time!
