The original comment that I made on this forum was based out of political frustration that I have been feeling as I have been catching glimpses of the news over the past few weeks with all of the protests, riots, and the political hypocrisy that seems to be at every front.

Times are tough for a lot of people, it's not a good look.If you dismiss everything I just typed, and if you really feel this strongly about the issue, you should pay your property taxes under protest and sue your public school district for failure to provide, during a global pandemic, the services that you've come to expect. 

But folks fail to realize that one can protest taxes and there are companies that do just that for investors and citizens.  

The longtime Umatilla residents have their torches and pitchforks out to protest the 'city folk' and 'greedy developers' spoiling their town, but with proper planning I think it's a positive, allowing more people to enjoy FL without seeing California style prices. 

My contractor has already paid the fee and it’s not worth halting the project over, but I’d like to protest and recoup it. 

If this has affected what you are trying to do with the loan, give the info to the loan officer and have them protest again. 

My tenant paid her Feb/March rent "under protest" and has decided pay only 2/3 of her rent on April 1st, mentioning she can't pay the full amount.

Or forcefully removing your tenant, changing the locks and conducting a barricade protest operation.

@Dan Heuschele as far as the airport (Linbergh), I have a relative that lives in PB that says the noise in OB is very bad and I've read news about citizens in Ocean Beach protesting the noise.
