They hide these beliefs, or worse-yet, try to justify them as not being liberal beliefs at all; but in the end, when it comes to things like gay marriage, assisted suicide, etc, they tend to be very liberal in their beliefs that the government should be intervening/meddling in our personal lives and decisions.

Seems like the banks should have a way to intervene in situations like this where they could make the rent money go to a third party (escrow type service) and at the very least divide up the money so at the very least that month's mortgage could be taken out of the rents and paid for.

While this problem was not directly caused by the government our national and local government can see how their policies have created job losses and they have proven they will in fact intervene quickly.
