The GC is trying to take advantage of the investor being out of state so I cannot say I recommend investing long distance without a plan in place to guard against GCs and property managers trying to exploit your distance.

However spammers and those here only to promote themselves will take any weakness or hole in our policies and exploit it. unfortunately innocent people with the best intentions get caught in the net. 

Listening to the podcasts I've noticed Brandon talking about finding your niche advantage and exploiting it.

People exploited the boom by buying homes and selling them only months later at a huge profit.That boom ended disastrously.

Find a niche and exploit it. 

If you think I am right about this, let them know that you think your agent willfully exploited you for personal gain (I assume there is personal gain somewhere in this) trapping you in this situation.

I have yet to find a county who's websites I was unable to exploit.   

Perhaps it could create inefficiencies that will be exploited by smart investors, widening the gap between winners and losers.

Tenants often find themselves at an unfair disadvantage when they go up against powerful, exploitative landlords".I bet a lot of apartments suddenly hit the market in Minneapolis. 

There is definitely potential however I am having a hard time finding out how to exploit it.
