Economists at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco have found every single downturn since the 1950s was preceded by yield curve inversion.

The old joke among economists is that "Expansions don't end, they're killed by the Fed."

Local economists and experts are expecting little to no appreciation in the next few years.
