Thoughts on the latest Jobs Report?

Jobs report came out yesterday, and signaled the lowest unemployment rate there has ever been since 1969...

Thoughts on this, and how we can capitalize on real estate as investors?

@David Serna this is great outlook. 12-18 month forecast looks good.

Not sure if this is true, but should spark your interest, but I was told freelance jobs do not count in these numbers? Is that true? Something like 20% of people freelance. Maybe they are lower? Maybe America is crushing it.

I think the economy is strong and we have another couple years personally

There is something called a cycle. There are ups and there are downs. We have been in the upward part of the sine curve for much longer than normal. Low unemployment rates, low interest rates, low gas prices. Things are great, but unfortunately there are cycles in economies. This one may last a little longer, but be sure that when all the economists are saying how great things are, you know it is about to change.

I am an optimist, but also a realist. I have been through a few cycles and I now know what is going to happen, or course nobody knows when exactly. Maybe with the next election, maybe when tariffs start hitting, maybe someone else announces some layoffs, who knows.

The economy's numbers are solid. I was worried that Trump's new policies were going to affect it, but it has been more than 2 years since he came to the presidency and it's still looking like a bright future (New policies, fiscal and economic, are usually felt on the economy after 2 years of being set).

The fact is that this growth is being felt in certain regions only. For example, in San Antonio Texas, where I'm from, we have been seeing a great surge in real estate development and real estate investing. I don't feel like this is going to end anytime soon.

Agreed!   I do worry if it truly is becoming more regional/ city and state specific though.

Colorado, Texas, Most* of California,  I read and hear about great news and strong forecasts.  Not sure about smaller regions.   Will people continue to move out of the North/ Northeast into warmer climates?
