My significant other and I are excited to learn more about real estate investing and wanted to start here to get a dialogue going. 

Just joining this thread, @Don Konipol, and enjoying the dialogue.  

Most people get mad for my postings but I’m apart of a DMV investing group now, any question that comes up in our weekly hour meeting, I just post here to see what OTHER people around the world have to say Perhaps they should post their own questions here and be directly involved in the dialogue?

Clearly this is not the case and thus enabling and engaging the misbehaving party in further dialogue is counter-productive.

Disclaimer: I will be analyzing mostly single family houses and small multifamily units in the Jacksonville area but I am down to learn about other investments.If this interests you please reach out to me and we can start a dialogue!

Above all, I think communication is the most important--if you have an open dialogue and address her concerns, I imagine you'll make progress :) Good luck!
