New to the Site, what are some successful BRRRR Stories?

I am new to real estate investing and have started reading books and listening to the podcasts. Very interested in learning more about the BRRRR method. I work with a contractor, (I am an admin for his business) and he has a team of people who rehab houses for the navy. I was interested in hearing success stories of the BRRRR method and not-so-successful stories of the BRRRR method. My significant other and I are excited to learn more about real estate investing and wanted to start here to get a dialogue going. Was hoping for any tips on getting started as perhaps I have a great advantage with a contractor that I trust. Let me know if you have any tips on getting started.
