Our current mortgage is a 30 year conventional locked in at 2.75% and the monthly payment is roughly $1900 ($950/person). 

I feel as if it would be hard to sell and that cash would be locked up for some time.

What do you have this locked up at? 

My HELOC was locked up and I was constantly making the interest payment that was taking away from my cashflow.

As of now, it sounds like you had a ton of equity locked up and it is not working hard for you. 

Either way, you lock in a 30 year note.

Like replacing the doors/ locks, etc. and  its getting frustrating.Whenever I articulate my frustrations to my wife it causes friction within our relationship I want to get this house rented asap but I wanted to get a barometer to see if perhaps my expectations are a bit unrealistic , especially with consideration that no one could get in the house due to the fleas until recently.

We have people complain about everything from unclogging a toilet they clogged, sending picture of their poop, to not knowing how to do easy stuff that they SHOULD know how to do to one girl who has locked herself out 5 times.
