The 110v dryers are useless unless they are a heat-pump model ... then it's debatable.If you have limited space, you would be better off with a 24" "apartment sized" stackable laundry where the "dryer" is a condensate ... or better, heat-pump - model that requires no venting.

It could be almost anything ranging from a weak breaker, a short, high amp pull from the compressor due to dirty condenser coils, high amp pull from the compressor because it is going bad, absence of a 3 or 5 minute relay so the unit cycles to early, etc.

The exterior AC condenser looked like it was in fairly good shape; however, on one side of the unit the fins looked like they were bent and damaged (possibly from a hail storm?).
