Just joined the group - greetings to all from Victoria on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Would like to start investing in Victoria Texas, I want some feedback regarding areas, if it is a good idea or not, and why. perhaps some idea of the rental market, average price, any real estate agent reference, title companies, contractor, and anything can share.

@Victoria ColemanI would look into if you want to start buying them just for yourself, mailing (mass marketing not just 500 postcards), PPC (pay per click) on google etc., Facebook ads, probate mailings work, radio ads work, and networking with local realtors/wholesalers.If you are just looking to buy some off market deals every once and awhile, I would suggest realtor/wholesaler relationships.

I am moving back to my home town of Victoria, BC Canada soon and I want to take what I've learned with me, although I can't use any of these same resources to help me find motivated sellers in Canada because they only have US info.
