I haven’t been going lately because it’s hard to make it with having toddlers and it being around their bedtime.

I'm also still weighed down by reasons why it's perhaps not the right time (e.g. two toddlers, little free time, etc.)... but somehow I'm still excited and hopeful.Happy to soak-in some insight and wisdom from you all.Luke   

We are from out of state, and have two young children (one school aged, one toddler).

Total cost was a little over $3k.We spent another $14k having someone fill out the rest of the house including the Toddler clubhouse under the stairs, the "lightly" themed rooms like Toy Story and 101 Dalmations, and just general decor and furniture that wasn't already in place. 

But I do work full time and have a teenage daughter and two toddler boys.

I am very limited on time because of work and raising a toddler.

They aren't your friends.I do not do leases. if any of my tenants cursed at me, threatened me, or refused to allow me in to do repairs, they would receive their notice to vacate.I am professional, and they had by-god-better treat me with respect because I am not willing to adopt and raise any 35 year old tantrum-throwing toddlers.

In fact, you have to dig in to your savings every month, just to keep the doors open so you can continue to lose money next month.Do your homework and maybe you'll find a good franchise, but like a toddler at a urinal, you have to stay on your toes.

We've also been planning for years to move to BC (from Calgary) to be closer to family & a better weather (our toddler has winter induced asthma).

You have to be careful things that you use are pet friendly, and toddler friendly, and human friendly.
