@Chris WinterhalterWe had similar issues with a brick building and ended up using a faux stone cladding not unlike what you have depicted, but in a mixture of grey-tan with green in it.

In the Midwest ag land can go for upwards of $15K/acre (has gone down somewhat as corn prices have gone down) but I figure $8K is probably more typical out west, assuming your land is out in Colorado.

I've been looking in to getting licensed as well, and have been leaning toward San Jac as it has a mixture of online and classroom, and covers the 6 courses in 4 or 8 week timeframes each (overlapping).
