So in the last 12 months these are some of those kinds of unusual expenses:- replace oil tank $1800- replace Bilco door wrecked by tenant $950- replace sewer pipe clogged with roots $2000- repair neighbors gutters that were destroyed by one of our trees $250Anyone else have unusual/extenuating expense stories?

This might be different in colder climates but, where I live, it's not unusual for bedrooms to be tiled. 

Also, it is highly unusual in the business world to rely on text messages to convey such information.

If the bid goes through, I have a good paying tenant that is going to be there for a long time which is our goal.While I agree, this is somewhat unusual, I am liking my older tenant at this point.

It was not unusual for us to dig out bullets from the walls in some of our homes.  

As for unusual STR rentals we stayed in a converted grain silo in Ohio but wouldn't recommend, nicely done but cold.

It was unusual to receive that warning given they haven’t grown that much tall.

As a RE Agent now myself, I thought it was unusual to not see their pic on their cards.

It's a somewhat unusual setting in that these duplexes are sitting on a block, that is very highly elevated from the street.

So,  sorry for the long story,  but it's a bit unusual.
