I was a little disappointed to see that the population hasn't really grown in the Poughkeepsie area and that the job market/economy seemed a little down. 

I know my contractor was disappointed. lol

You will run into disappointing people and situations a lot in real estate and you just have to roll with the punches unemotionally.  

You are probably right that he is disappointed that you did spend more money on his trinkets.

I wish you luck in finding a good one, but almost everyone I know has been disappointed by their management company.

the house is within a walking distance from my house. i told her that i would be there from 5-6 on wednesday and 11-12 on saturday. i have to finish a few things anyway, so it's a good way to get me to go there anyway.i have lost motivation to finish the small 3-4 items (door does not close properly, caulk shower joints, caulk sink) so it's a good way to get me to do them.i am just disappointed that it's been almost 2 months without a single application. i verified before purchasing the house that the houses across the street rent for 950. it's a terrible school district and they still rent. i am asking almost the same price and nothing. people just come and nothing. i finish the houses the way that i'd love to live in them and this one seems to be a problem. wifey is upset because i convinced her it would be easy to rent since it's on a main street. because this one is still open, i can't look ahead to the next one.i have never dealt with section 8 people, so i dont even know what to expect.she told me there was this guy that said he can sign a lease if we lower it to $900. i said "no.

My situation: I'm currently a minor league baseball player - look up our average income and you'll be severely disappointed - and I am looking to begin purchasing homes between $30-$60k.  

If I told you the deal is off the table right now....would you be relieved or disappointed.

However, initial calls resulted in my credit being pulled only to be disappointed by the fact I didn’t meet certain criteria (3 lines of credit history for 1-year each, etc.).
