Not unless you truly enjoy gambling. 

I feel these are incredibly unstable times and as a gambler I believe its not worth gambling until evidence suggests the market is improving when my odds are the best.

I've always loved real estate and wanted to become an agent when I was just out of college but honestly, I was afraid of the 'gamble' of making money through commissions only. 

I must admit, I would probably trust the big firm to be able to screen people with certain criteria and evict people (if needed) like clockwork, where I think the little guy would be more of a gamble.

Seems like a bit of a gamble to me.

I look at the 2nd wave as more opportunities for people like me before things start to settle in 2+ yrs and Vegas economy bounces back :cool: In the old days, when the economy tanked, people used to drown their sorrow in alcohol and gambling.

There is nothing profound in real estate, just be careful, don't do anything that might constitute gambling or high risk and you'll be fine.

I want to make an investment not a gamble.
