I had the same thought as you and bought a Best Western 10 years ago and had to run it through the recession which was tough. 

@Shahadat Reza Hi we invest heavily in the Pottstown area, which is on the western edge of Montgomery county bordering Chester and Berks.

As far as I know western 1/2 the valley (las Vegas) only does liens for trash. 

Has anyone worked with New Western or Eric Davis of the ERIC DAVIS GROUP INC in Atlanta?

Personally, I could be in a smaller town which is more remote in the mountains like Southern Colorado, Montana, Idaho or Western Wyoming but my wife prefers to be closer to what proximity of a large city like Denver offers.

We operate quite a bit in Berwyn, Forest Park, Cicero and the surrounding western suburbs, and I can tell you each town has its own way... 

I am initially looking into Northern Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties in NY and then expanding into Western Connecticut (which is geographically near-by) and Arizona (where we plan to have a second/retirement home) as well as other attractive markets.

I think I’m going to SE Asia before going back to Western Europe, but have a blast!

My properties are SFRs in Western Pennsylvania and the best of them are reaching for solid C' status. 

Any western states investors getting good cash flow in SFR??
